Hi, I'm Leslie McCaddon, a Certified Life Coach, young widow, caregiver of a disabled husband, former nonprofit executive and a published writer in TIME magazine, Scary Mommy, Her View From Home and elsewhere. I'm an alumna of The Community Writers and I've worked on how to write a novel under award winning and best selling authors. I know how hard it can feel to balance career, family, and...everything else.

But, feelings aren't facts. And I've learned that putting my dreams at the bottom of the list of priorities doesn't help anyone.
So, I am here to help you:
-
Understand what is really causing your overwhelm (and it isn't your job, kids, or your husband).
-
Create a detailed strategy for taking back your joy and creativity.
-
Help you improve your relationships with your family, co-workers, boss, and patients/clients, so you can work on your novel guilt free!
-
Help you to work through imposter syndrome, overwhelm, and the fear of the unknown. I'll teach you why you already have everything you need to write your book.
-
Give you a carpet-bag of writing tools and life coaching skills on how to coach yourself and resolve emotional triggers both for you--and your fictional characters!

Let's get you out of burnout and overwhelm and into creative flow.

I hold your hand and guide you through a structured approach, step by step instructions and customized, fun experiments to minimize your stress, maximize your resilience and strength, and create an overwhelm-proof process to writing a novel without sacrificing the needs of your patients, family, or YOU.

My time with Leslie has been an honor. She is really great to work with because she is witty and so articulate! I appreciate her enthusiasm for my small and big successes and how effortlessly she challenges me to move forward. The way she breaks things down make them easy to implement.
I highly recommend working with Leslie.
